This Italian vacation deserves more than selfies and rushed snapshots.
Let’s create stunning, authentic portraits that capture not just where you’ve been, but who your love for one another —so you can relive these moments for years to come.

Life moves fast—school drop-offs, work deadlines, and fleeting moments that pass in a blur.
Vacations are different: they’re for uninterrupted time with your loved ones
Time to explore, to share laughter over a meal, and to create memories that deserve to be cherished forever.

You’re excited for wandering along Venice's canals, feeling history come alive as you step into the Colosseum, blowing your budget in Milan’s Galleria, and savoring every blissful bite of pizza in Naples.
What truly excites you is the chance to reconnect with your family.
Building memories that will last forever.
The artisanal gelato? Just a bonus.

Let's decorate your home with family portraits that bring you back to this special time—whenever you need it.
Photographs for your walls that do more than just preserve the beauty of Italy, but also capture the bond and joy that make your family’s connection unique.

Historic Rome:
Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, the Vatican.. historic sites at every turn.Your kids are excited to play gladiator by the colosseum, you can almost taste the wine you’ll enjoy from a Roman rooftop bar as the sun sets on historic monuments. You’ll be escaping the heat at Villa Borghese.
What other background is so clearly Italy than these monuments in Rome?
Perfect for: Early rises and small groups. Rome is too big, too busy and too spread out to wander around as a 10+ people, multi-gen group! If that’s you, we’ll choose another backdrop!
Good to know: The Colosseum is your best option for an iconic backdrop at either sunrise or sunset. Most other popular sites are suitable for sunrise only due to crowds.
-
Timeless Portraits by the Sea
From the sun-kissed terraces of Ravello to the vibrant streets of Naples, this region is a dream backdrop for your family’s story.
Wander through Positano’s winding alleys, framed by bougainvillea and pastel facades, or stand atop the Path of the Gods with the sparkling Mediterranean behind you.
Capture the chaos of Naples in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, tasting pizza in it’s home, or enjoying a gelato along the waterfront with Castel dell’Ovo in the backdrop.
Perfect for: Couples, families, and multi-generational trips.
Good to know: Sunrise offers the best light and fewer crowds in the most famous spots in Amalfi and Capri, while Naples provides stunning backdrops at any time of day.
Larger groups will love the space and elegance of Ravello’s gardens or a quiet seaside overlook for relaxed, timeless portraits.
-
Vibrant Portraits on the Italian Riviera
With its colorful villages perched above the Ligurian Sea, Cinque Terre is a breathtaking setting for your family’s story.
Most visitors experience this coastal paradise on a rushed day trip, but if you're based here, you have the rare chance to soak in its beauty at the best times—when the streets are quiet, and the light is perfect for photographs!
Wander the cliffside trails with panoramic sea views and stroll past the sun-faded facades of Vernazza’s harbor or enjoy it all from a boat.
Capture the romance of Riomaggiore’s winding streets, the lively charm of Monterosso’s sandy shores, or the quiet beauty of Corniglia’s vineyard-covered hills.
Perfect for: Couples and small families who love adventure!
Good to know: Sunset in Manarola is pure magic, while early mornings in Vernazza and Riomaggiore provide the best light and fewer crowds. If you want a more intimate setting, the vineyards and terraces of Corniglia offer a peaceful, picturesque backdrop. Better yet, hire a boat for compelte privacy!

A City of Reflections: Portraits in Venice
Venice is a city like no other—where winding canals replace streets, history whispers through ancient archways, and every bridge leads to another breathtaking view.
Drift through the quiet morning canals on a private gondola or with a learn to row experience, embracing the magic of the city from the water.
Wander through the historic Jewish Ghetto, one of Venice’s most authentic and storied neighborhoods, or pause beneath the elegant arches of Piazza San Marco before the crowds arrive.
Explore hidden alleyways, cross romantic stone bridges, and soak in the charm of Venice’s lesser-known corners where life moves at a slower pace.
And I’ll capture it all!
Perfect for: Families who can’t sit still, and anyone drawn to Venice’s romance and rich history.
Good to know: Early mornings offer the softest light and the fewest crowds, making it the best time for photos at iconic spots like St. Mark’s Basilica and the Grand Canal. A gondola ride provides stunning, intimate portraits, while the quiet streets of the Jewish Ghetto and Cannaregio reveal a more local side of Venice.

Whether you crave adventure or quiet moments in nature, every season in the Dolomites offers something unforgettable.
Perfect for: Outdoorsy families who love iconic, dramatic landscapes and fresh mountain air.
Good to know: Sunrise and sunset provide the most magical light, especially at Lago di Braies and Alpe di Siusi. Some locations require short hikes, but the rewards are well worth it. In winter, snow-covered peaks and charming ski villages create a dreamy, postcard-perfect setting.

Imagine yourself aboard a sleek, wooden boat, wind in your hair as you cruise toward the shores of Bellagio, James Bond-style. Ciao, I’m Kirstie
Australian expat living her best pasta life
During a COVID lockdown in our Tuscan apartment, sipping Chianti Classico, I shared an idea with my (Italian) husband that I'd first had years before we met.
While watching tourists line up for selfies by that famous church in Santorini, I envisioned creating a photography business that went beyond iconic backdrops to capture authentic travel memories.
At the time, it seemed impossible—work visas and all that—but years later, I found myself living a new life, in Italy. The idea resurfaced: Why not take my decade of photography experience and launch a portrait studio here in Tuscany, offering the luxury experience I believe in, in the style of my award-winning street portraits?
And so, Classico Portraits was born—a perfect name for a studio conceived over a glass of Chianti Classico, dedicated to crafting timeless images.
Now, I travel throughout Italy, capturing families sailing in the Mediterranean, teenagers shopping for leather handbags in San Lorenzo, and couples enjoying sunrise at Piazzale Michelangelo—each session thoughtfully tailored to reflect the unique spirit of every family.
I'm excited to share my insider tips with you too! Three weeks before your trip, we’ll finalize every detail, ensuring your session is as unique as your family.
By the time of the shoot, we’ll feel like old friends just hanging out for the afternoon. You’ll feel relaxed in front of the camera, and I'll help you choose the perfect images for your albums and walls—bringing the heart of Italy into your home.
