Vacations pass quickly, but your memories don't have to.
Recall them with photographs that tell your travel story.

Life at home moves at full speed—hectic mornings, endless to-do lists, and stolen moments squeezed between busy schedules.
Vacations offer something rare: the gift of time.
Time to pause, to laugh through these shared experiences and to simply be together.

You’re looking forward to strolling through the leather market in Florence, doing a cooking class in a Tuscan agriturismo, and relaxing as your kids play at the beach in Forte Dei Marmi.
But what it’s really about is family bonding.
Deepening your relationships.
The handmade pasta? Just a bonus.

Once reality settles back in, let’s give you a way to be transported back to the timeless elegance of Florence and the rolling hills of Tuscany.
Through photographs that not only capture the Italy you experienced, but also celebrate the love that unites your family.
What to Expect
It’s super relaxed and I guide you through the whole process

Where history, art, and family come together
With the iconic Duomo and Ponte Vecchio as your backdrop, it’s the perfect place to capture your family's story. From wandering the charming Boboli Gardens to taking in the view along the Arno River, Florence gives us countless moments to preserve—timeless memories you’ll treasure forever.
Perfect for: Couples or small families!
Good to know: Larger groups will need to choose sunrise time or, be open to heading to some specific locations (Boboli Gardens is my favourite!) in high season to have the required space for group shots.
-
Postcard-perfect towns
Three of Tuscany’s most captivating cities, each with its own little slice of magic. They have that wow factor of Florence, but space to actually do a group photo!
Picture riding bikes on top the ancient city walls of Lucca, surrounded by lush greenery and the charm of the streets below. The peaceful vibe and medieval beauty make it a wonderful spot to capture the joy of being together as a family.
Or how about playing in Siena’s iconic Piazza del Campo, with its red-tinted buildings and winding streets that tell tales of centuries past. The energy and history of this place make it the perfect setting for your family’s adventure.
Or for that unmistakably Italy background, what about an early morning session in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa before a walk along with river- cornetto in hand of course!
Perfect for: Everyone! Lucca is particularly spacious making it great for large groups and kids who want to play or ride. All three have spots that avoid crowds and cobblestones too!
-
Iconic Tuscany:
San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Chianti, Volterra, Cortona, Monteriggioni, Montalcino and more!Picture your family strolling through endless rows of vines, the sun casting a golden glow across the hills. This is Chianti—an idyllic setting for a photoshoot that truly captures the heart of Tuscany.
Before or after, we’ll meander through one of the nearby hilltop villages. Whether it’s San Gimignano with its famous towers (and some of the best gelato in Tuscany!), the peaceful charm of Certaldo, or the romantic streets of Cortona straight out of Under the Tuscan Sun, each village is a step back in time. There really isn’t a wrong choice for the perfect Tuscan village backdrop!
Perfect for: Everyone! We’ll just choose the right town to suit your family!
-
Tuscany’s luxury beach clubs
Picture your family by the Tuscan sea, the soft waves lapping at the shore, with the backdrop of iconic beach umbrellas and stylish boutiques.
It’s a place where relaxed luxury meets natural beauty, creating an inconic setting for capturing your family’s Mediterranean vacation.
Perfect for: Couples who love a good cocktail on the beach and families with kids who’ll join the volleyball match!
-
A laid-back coastal escape
Imagine your family exploring hidden coves, hiking scenic trails, and embracing the essence of island life against a backdrop of crystal-clear waters, rugged cliffs, and charming fishing villages of Isola d’Elba.
A similar description can be given for Argentario. Whether you're wandering through the quaint streets of Porto Ercole or searching for the perfect cliff-jumping spot, every corner of this coastal paradise is a picture-perfect location for capturing your family’s adventure.
Perfect for: Active, beach-loving families who love to explore!
-
Al Gelso Bianco, Reschio, Four Seasons Hotel Firenze.. to name a few
Book your photoshoot in the comfort of your accommodation for a laid-back, unforgettable experience—after all, every Tuscan lodging is like a living painting!
Whether you’re relaxing by your villa pool, sharing special moments on your hotel’s private terrace, or enjoying one of the resort’s activities, the tranquil surroundings make for a perfect backdrop to capture your family’s connection.
It’s all about being present in the moment and allowing me to photograph those candid, heartfelt moments without the stress of travel.
Perfect for: Multi-gen vacations (with grandparents) and big groups. Also great for young families especially if you have more than one child.

Ciao, I’m Kirstie
Australian expat living her best Chianti life
During a COVID lockdown in our Tuscan apartment, sipping Chianti Classico, I shared an idea with my (Italian) husband that I'd first had years before we met.
While watching tourists line up for selfies by that famous church in Santorini, I envisioned creating a photography business that went beyond iconic backdrops to capture authentic travel memories.
At the time, it seemed impossible—work visas and all that—but years later, I found myself living a new life, in Italy. The idea resurfaced: Why not take my decade of photography experience and launch a portrait studio here in Tuscany, offering the luxury experience I believe in, in the style of my award-winning street portraits?
And so, Classico Portraits was born—a perfect name for a studio conceived over a glass of Chianti Classico, dedicated to crafting timeless images.
Now, I travel throughout Italy, capturing families sailing in the Mediterranean, teenagers shopping for leather handbags in San Lorenzo, and couples enjoying sunrise at Piazzale Michelangelo—each session thoughtfully tailored to reflect the unique spirit of every family.
I'm excited to share my insider tips with you too! Three weeks before your trip, we’ll finalize every detail, ensuring your session is as unique as your family.
By the time of the shoot, we’ll feel like old friends just hanging out for the afternoon. You’ll feel relaxed in front of the camera, and I'll help you choose the perfect images for your albums and walls—bringing the heart of Tuscany into your home.
P.S. I travel to clients all over Italy and even France, so if you’re considering somewhere outside Tuscany for your photoshoot, that’s an option too!
