CALLING ITALY HOME: The Expat Project

I’m photographing 50 expats and their loved ones in 2023.
I’d love for you to be one of them.

Calling Italy Home is a photography book project which showcases stories of expats and their families, and how they’ve adapted to living here in Italy. Each participant/family will be photographed in their home or surrounding area which will feature in the book alongside their story.

We are looking for diversity in stories such as your background, what brought you to Italy, if you’re on your own or with family and so on! As such, participation is via an application basis.

Each successful applicant will have their photographs and story featured over a double-page spread in the hard-cover coffee table book and so there are just 50 places available.

Participants are encouraged to use this opportunity to update their portraits and may purchase their favourite images for their walls. As a bonus for participating, you’ll even receive a €500 print credit to help make that happen.

We’ll be travelling throughout Italy for the project so no matter which region you’re in, if this project excites you, we’d love to hear from you.
