I know Italy like a local, but I still see it through your eyes
I’ve lived in Italy with my Italian husband for a while now. That means I know the country, its rhythms and the best vineyards to sit and sip a Chianti. But as an expat, I still see Italy through the fresh eyes of a traveler. I know what you’re looking for that locals might take for granted (like cruising past Roman ruins on a honey colored vespa).
I have over a decade of experience in photography and curating high quality print products. Everything you need – from styling and organizing your shoot, to selecting and shipping the perfect image for your wall – starts and ends with Classico Portraits.

How to book your photoshoot
After a short, obligation-free call to go over your needs,
a booking fee reserves your photoshoot date
From call to wall, your shoot is customized around what expresses your family dynamic best!
1. GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER CALL
We hop on a Whatsapp or Zoom call to get to know each other. We’ll chat about how you’d like to enjoy these photos and start planning the types of images, themes and products best for your home and budget. We'll then confirm your photoshoot date with the reservation fee.. more on that below.
2. PLANNING THE SESSION
You’ll get plenty of preparation and guidance for organizing the perfect photo session activity. It’s important to know which vendors here are reliable, and which aren’t. I’m here to make sure you choose good ones. Two weeks before you leave home we’ll have a Zoom call, the “wardrobe consult” to help you style your outfits and finalise the details of your photoshoot. On request, I’ll also help you find hair and makeup services.

3. THE PHOTO SESSION
I’ll meet you where you’re at, and you’ll come as you are. Skip, laugh, eat, drink and play as you always do, with just enough direction from me. Let’s leave stiff, awkward posing in the 80s portrait studios where it belongs!

4. YOU CHOOSE YOUR FAVOURITES
At the end of your shoot, we’ll go through your gallery together and pick out your favourites. Or if time doesn’t allow, we can schedule a Zoom call instead. During this appointment I’ll help you narrow down the ones that work best for each product. (Hint: the one that will make you smile even when your teenager is causing you grey hairs!)
5. YOU CHOOSE YOUR PRODUCTS
With my guidance, we pick products suited for the image and your home. Everything from the size, to the lighting of the room and surrounding decor is taken into consideration!
6. I HANDLE THE REST
I have over 10 years of experience designing wall art and preparing images for print. I am passionate about creating timeless, durable wall art that fits perfectly in your home.
Every decision is intentional, with your family in mind.

Our clients spend anywhere between €1500-€15,000 on their total experience depending on how many walls they want to fill and if they want grandparent gift albums as well as a keepsake album themselves.

Nope. Never. I come to you, all over Italy.
No matter where the shoot is, the entire reservation fee is deducted from your artwork order.

Of course!
During your Zoom call I’ll get to know more about you in order to decide the direction of the shoot, including the location.
We’ll start with your lifestyle and interests, and then look at your home decor to ensure the backdrop of your images will suit your walls as well.
If you have kids joining the session, we’ll choose somewhere they can relax and safely explore.
Just you or you and a partner? We’ll pick somewhere that suits you perfectly. Maybe that’s a stop at a wine bar or gelateria, or a hike in the hills.

If you’d like, I will also happily meet you at your hotel prior to help you make any final decisions. -
This photoshoot is a great opportunity to be pampered so we highly recommend professional make up and can help organize that for you!

That's enough to cover a beautiful piece for your wall but you'll likely go bigger, or add an album.
Our clients spend anywhere from €1500 to €15,000 depending on finishes, sizes, and number of pieces. Most people spend somewhere in the middle but we’ll discuss all this in detail on your Zoom call prior to booking.
No matter what you choose to spend, you’ll certainly come away with an end result that's perfect for you. Not too much, not too little, just the perfect collection to relive this trip forever.

Wall art is my specialty, and other print products like albums and keepsake boxes are available as well.
We gift you a free web-resolution digital version of each purchased image for sharing on social media.
If digitals suit your lifestyle better, I can custom design a digital-only solution but the printed options provide even better value.

When you book your photoshoot date, I block off my calendar not just for that entire day, but also the evening before and morning after. That gives us plenty of flexibility in case someone in your family is unwell or if we hit really bad weather.
It’s important to note though that your reservation fee secures this time and is forfeited in the event of cancellations excluding bad weather which is considered dangerous.
If you need to reschedule beyond that window due to travel delays or something else out of your control we can typically accommodate one reschedule, outside of high-season, for an admin fee of €250.
We highly recommend taking this into consideration when booking your travel and we’ll discuss it during your discovery call.
